The Stiletto Tickle is an NV wine (i.e. non vintage, or, blend of vintages) made from various white varieties such as Chardonnay and Muscat of Alexandria.
It is made in a style from the north west of Italy called Moscato, which is a simple fresh wine for quaffing in social situations, generally without food. In other words- parties!
The wine is made from grapes that are picked early to maximise their lighter floral characters. The ferments are done at low temperatures to capture these characters and then prematurely halted before all of the grape sugar is converted to alcohol.
The result is a lively fruity wine that is sweet in the mouth with lots of creamy bubbles. Rather like grape juice with bubbles and alcohol!
Tasty and very easy to drink without too many after effects.
