Kersbrook Hill Wines was established in 1997 by Managing Director Paul Clark with the purchase of the current Kersbrook property.
The first plantings were undertaken in a small 0.4 hectare vineyard site which now supplies the premium Shiraz “Dons Acre”.
This initial planting was undertaken to test the suitability of the site, and encouraged by the results, 2 years later more land was purchased and the larger vineyard had 3 hectares planted to Shiraz and 1 hectare planted to Riesling. In 2009 a new vineyard was contracted in Verdun in the Adelaide Hills some 700 metres above sea level. This larger vineyard has 2 hectares planted to Chardonnay and 6 hectares planted to Cabernet Sauvignon. The total production per year is now upward of 60 000 bottles Kersbrook Hill is an Ultra premium 5 star producer specializing in premium cool climate wines.
